Intermediate level words are a stepping stone on your way to a more challenging TOEFL Vocabulary. These moderate level difficulty words will help you build a strong base. They will also be a good review to fill any gaps that might exist in your word knowledge.

You are required to use a wide variety of English words on the TOEFL, in many different situations. You will hear challenging vocabulary words in a professor’s lecture, and a conversation between students.
