Finally I would like to wrap up my visitation with you over these four modules with another important part in helping you with your career in management and that is building a global network. So we're gonna focus on leading, the fourth function of management. It's about eliminating risk, it's about monitoring and measuring to make sure our plan achieves our organizational goals.

So the article is called, Leadership That Gets Results, published by the Harvard Business Review in March/April edition of 2000. Leaders that spend the time, invest in their people in order to get to long term right skills. How do we train individual leaders in order to understand the advantages and disadvantages of these six leadership styles?

Well a standard is a documented requirement or specification that provides a guideline or characteristics that can be used as a base line, a starting point, to ensure that materials, and products, and processes, and services meet the intended purpose. And that executive team decided that since we have this great environment, we can sell more by putting food service and grills into the Starbucks. And Howard Schultz made a decision with the rest of the executive team, to take that food service, those grills out and get it back to their core business of a coffee shop.

So, in that book that I quoted way back in a previous module, Workplace 2000, The Revolution Reshaping Business. And that there will be such a tremendous movement in business that people are likely to look, to work in 10 to 20 different companies during their lifetime, and change jobs every 2 to 3 years. It would be to spend quality time investing in building a network of contacts around the world.
