Are You Ready to Start Learning English Grammar Now

Hello and welcome to this Udemy course on the complete English grammar.

So a few bits of information that apply to the whole course in general.

This course is not intended to be started at lesson 1 and go sequentially all the way through to the end.

It has a more sort of pick and mix approach, so depending on your needs, you will pick certain topics and sections that will help you with that need.

So for example, if you are looking for information or having trouble with say prepositions of time you can go to the preposition section down to the prepositions of time lesson and have a look at that.

Or as another example if you’re getting a bit stuck on say present perfect continuous tense you can go down to the section on aspects and tenses, look at the lesson on present perfect continuous and have a look at that for help.

Now, the exception to this is the beginners’ section.

In the beginners’ section,

it is intended to be accessed sequentially from start to finish.

There is a reason for this.

It is that certain lessons later on the beginners section need information from earlier lessons.

So in other words there’s no point in doing telling the time if you haven’t done numbers yet because you need those numbers when telling the time.

If you find the lessons too fast or for example you’re looking that beginners’ section for information although you’re not really a beginner and you find that to be too slow, down sort of here somewhere there are speed controls.

So if you’re finding it too slow you can kind of notch up the speed a bit to say one and a quarter or even one and a half times and if you’re finding it a bit too fast, you can take it down a bit to say three quarters and Udemy does this really well and it’s still very good and easy to listen to even if the speed has changed.

Another important aspect of this course is that each and every lesson as a downloadable PDF with material from that lesson.

So with time, you can build up a nice sort of library of resource materials that will help you offline as well.

The other thing I would like to point out is, please ask any questions you have about English grammar.

If, for instance, a particular lesson you think doesn’t answer your question clearly or could have more examples of more detail, please let me know and I will make necessary changes.
