متن انگلیسی درس

So how’d you do.

I hope you have a decent sized list of things you like how you came across how you smiled how you looked comfortable but there also should be a list of things you don’t like.

Did you look scared.

Did your voice end up on the end of every sentence making it sound like you doubt yourself.

Whatever it is look at that list.

So we’re going to do this all again but this time I want to do more of the things you liked when you presented.

I want you to look at the list of the things you don’t like and I want you to focus on just one of those things.

So maybe it was speaking too quickly and all you’re going to do this time is try to slow down how quickly you speak.

I don’t want you to try to fix 10 problems if there are 10 things you don’t like.

That’s not how you learned any other skill you didn’t go to math class one day and just instantly learn addition subtraction multiplication and division you learned one step at a time.

I want you to do the same thing with public speaking.

So I want you to focus on just one thing that you didn’t like from this last presentation.

The style of how you came across how you moved how you sounded and let’s do the whole thing again.

Video recorded it again.

Analyze it again making a detailed list.

What would you like ideally that list grows.

What is you not like ideally that list shrinks by 1.

Please do that now.
