How to- the bibliography

Hi, everyone.

Welcome to this class about how to write your bibliography and your article.

The rule is simple, your field, your rules.

Our point is that of course, there are some rules to follow.

But each journal, each community, could have some specific rules concerning the forms of the bibliography.

Remember the additional video and stereo of the seconds, too.

Let’s take to the next step.

You guys have all your references and want to export it on your writing software.

It is a goal of this video.

Let’s take a look to a real bibliography and go back to the.

As you can see, there are two references added by Alex in the previous video and I added two new.

First, an article from Dahlia.

As you can see, this PDF has been commented on as we’ve already seen on the previous video.

But let’s go to the references section, which we call the bibliography.

As you can see, the references are numbered, and the sequence of the information are the following, the authors, the title of the article, the name of the journal where it was published on, and the date, with additional information.

If we take another example, as let’s go to the references again.

Here there is no number before the references.

Furthermore, the order of the amount of the bibliography is not exactly the same as before.

For instance, the date here is just after the authors.

The question now is how to publish the same kind of bibliography using the theorem.

You just have to right-click on the folder you want to export.

Select the Create bibliography option.

Then you can see several options.

The first one is the more important, because it’s a style of quoting, which define the formats you will export your references.

Let’s begin with Chicago Manual, for instance.

The second option is the language, allowing you to choose the language you want to use to export the bibliography, which is quite useful because it’s allow you to export non English character, but let’s keep English for now.

Then you can select bibliography and the copy option and OK.

You can go in the article with your text and then go to the references section.

You just have to paste.

We can see the full references we just aggregated in alphabetical order, which follow the rules of the Chicago Journal.

Let’s take another example and do the same exercise to export your references.

Let’s choose American Psychology Association and paste it on your article.

Here again, we have the full references.

You can now export your bibliography from your targeted journal.

Indeed, will help you to increase the writing of your bibliography, but for the moment, you know the format of your targeted journal.
