Apply to Speak at TED

So we come to the end of this course on how to be a Ted speak or how to speak like TED speakers.

I hope you’ve learned some tips if you’re ready to take it to the next step below and the description is how you apply.

Now take note.

They ask for other people to nominate you don’t really take kindly to someone who has to nominate themselves.

But if you are a great speaker you have a great subject a truly good idea that needs to spread and you’re a good speaker.

Then you could certainly ask people to nominate you.

There’s nothing wrong with that.

However I hope after our time together you’re seeing sort of the bigger picture of the big picture is not about whether you speak at TED the big picture is about you speaking on a regular basis and more and more compelling ways reaching broader audiences.

And if you follow these tips ultimately it’s not going to matter if you speak to Ted or not.

You’re going to be a better and better speaker.

You’re going to be asked to speak at more places and you are going to reach more people through the power of your voice.

The power of your ideas will get out there and that’s ultimately what it’s all about your own good ideas can spread.
