Drastically Reduce Your Time Training Employees and Others

The last big category that I wanted to have you think about.

It’s the last one I put on the list for a purpose because I don’t think it’s quite as relevant to most people.

But the last category is video to create online training.

Why don’t you have a course here on you to meet.

Now you might not think of yourself as a full time professional trainer.

You may say well T.J.

you’re just projecting because I am a trainer.

That’s right.

But think about it.

If there’s any form of expertise you have that other people could value from maybe you do want to make it available in the form of an online course.

If nothing else just for your own employees or people in your organization it could perhaps save you time if they go through a video training course from you before having to spend time with you.

Everyone could win.

They could watch it and we re watch it for certain key points rather than you having to remind a new employee 10 times about a particular issue.

So I want you to give it some thought.

It’s really not that hard and the stakes are just not that high.

If you do it on a subject and you don’t make a million dollars from it.

Big deal.

That’s not something you put all your time and energy and efforts into and you don’t have to put a lot of money into it.

There have been times for example when I just had a spare hour and I did an hour long course on body language.

People don’t hire me to help them with their body language but I do get questions from time to time from my public speaking and media training clients about body language.

So I said Well why don’t I just throw together a course on body language for people who are going on TV or trying to come across as more professional when they’re speaking or in the office place.

I put together the course and you know what.

It’s not going to pay off the house or buy a swimming pool but it has generated thousands of dollars.

I realized that might not be your revenue model but it couldn’t hurt and if you have expertise share it sometimes just packaging it in a way where you call it a course helps other people want to take a look and learn from you.
