Be adventurous.

Well what is this another motivational YouTube video.

Well no not really.

Most scientists today agree when you gain new experiences when you are experiencing new adventures your

neural pathways are actually strengthened in your brain.

We remember things when we’re in an adventurous state when our emotions are high.

When you’re experiencing something new our memory is actually sharper.

We remember things more clearly.

And additionally some scientists actually believe that even greater changes in adult brains can be accomplished

by doing new things when you learn new things when you experience new topics explore new locations something

that’s new to your brain actually grows our brain actually creates new pathways that previously weren’t

able to be created and the key here is that monotony is bad if every day you wake up and you do the

same thing over and over and over.

It’s not creating strong neural pathways it’s not going to create unique connections that people who

are adventurous and experience new different and exciting things are going to form one of my favorite

quotes.

Growing up was the world is a playground you know that when you’re a kid.

But somewhere along the way everyone forgets it.

Think about that when you’re a kid you’re able to be creative think of different games think of different

stories different ideas just because you’re creative.

As we grow older this idea of creativity almost disappears or becomes less and less so.

That is because our experiences become sometimes monotonous.

We start to experience the same things over and over and over.

And if you want to be an efficient learner don’t shy away from new experiences.

It doesn’t have to always be about learning.

It could be about traveling to a different location.

It could be taking a different path to work than you usually do.

It can be learning a skill completely unrelated to what your job is.

The idea is to be adventurous to experience new things to avoid monotony to treat the world like you

did when you were a child because that actually helps your brain grow.
