متن انگلیسی درس

Have an end point when it comes to performing unpleasant tasks.

Your brain actually needs to know that there is an end in sight.

That there is an end point.

What does that mean.

Well when you’re planning on working on something tell yourself that I’m going to be done by this point

no matter what.

By 5:00 p.m. I’m going to stop working.

I’m going to give my brain a rest and we know that about brains that we need rest.

We need to take breaks.

But giving yourself a break and establishing exactly what time or when you’re going to finish your focused

learning session and by knowing that in advance it actually helps your brain stay more focused.

Daniel Kahneman who is a famous psychologist actually mentioned this where no matter what.

He never had any all nighters in university.

There was always a specific end point where he knew what his productivity hours are.

Something we discussed about in the principles section of the course and he would just stop working

when he knew that you’re no longer being productive plan your finishing time and by planning your finishing

time it becomes just as important as planning your working time.
