The Sequence of Your Presentation Is Key

Sequencing is very important when it comes to delivering PowerPoint.

There is the way most people do it and then there’s the way great communicators do it the way most people do it is they throw up a slide.

They kind of turn and look at it.

Everyone in the room looks at it and it’s typically a whole bunch of bullet points in words and concepts and then they’ll say something like OK.

So today we’re gonna talk about Bob Barr.

So the slide is leading the show there then following it.

That’s how most people do it.

Can you be an effective communicator and do it that way.

Could but there’s another way.

It’s far more effective for you to introduce the idea for you to flesh out some details.

Give an example.

Tell a story then and only then put up the slide to reinforce it.
