No you don’t.

You do not have to control the interview.

You don’t have to control the reporter.

There is only one thing you have to control.

Your own mouth.

If you control your own mouth you’re going to be in great shape.

When I look at some of the most famous people in the world who’ve destroyed their careers ruined themselves because of bad quotes horrible sound bites occasionally sometimes my own clients.

It’s never because of what the reporter said it’s what came out of their own mouth.

That’s what gets people into trouble once you realize that it simplifies things and you can focus on what really matters not trying to control other people just control your own mouth.
