With a song as popular as Jingle Bells it’s usually very tempting to start playing longer sections and to try playing the whole song when we are still not ready for it. Since we know the tune it sounds very familiar. We make the false assumption that since we know how it goes it will be easy to learn it. It does help. No doubt about this but still the execution of all the physical motions is a completely different thing than knowing how the tune goes. Or being able to sing it. You have to be really patient and practice it section by section piece by piece. Same as putting together a puzzle. You know how the picture should look like but you still have to go through each individual piece one by one to the whole picture eventually appears in front of you. So having said that let’s look at how the tune works. This time we’d have two separate maladies each of them is repeated twice with a slight difference at the end. Here it is. All right. So let’s work on the first measure. Well started very slowly increasing the tempo as we go. If it’s too slow for you pay attention for the correct position of the fingers visualize the fingers starting all the way from the rest the eco rotation in the arm and also the way you’re using about the tempo is getting too fast at some point. Just stop the video make a few extra repetitions by yourself and then continue stopping and adding more repetitions as you need all right first measure check poacher while in position bolthole we are starting an open de Ferragut.
